ABOUT ABOUT
SESSION 2!!!!
Have you always wanted to be the cocktail connoisseur of your social set? Join us for a 1 1/2 hour class to learn how. Bar manager Chris Olds and bartender John Mayer will mix history and practical knowledge to give participants a chance to practice with tools and techniques.

Students will get a bit of the past, discussing spirits (where they come from and how they are made) and the history of the cocktail (from communal punch bowls to individual craft cocktails,) the synthetic imitation ingredients that sprung up in the 1950s and the modern resurgence of the cocktail craft and finer ingredients). Guests will ultimately get behind the bar and get their hands dirty.

Each class will highlight three cocktails and teach the class how to make them on their own, plus offer tips on how to set up a versatile bar at home. They'll be able to make what the group learned and the ingredients for each can later be combined with the others to make dozens of other cocktails.

The cost is $40 per person and includes tastes of chef Leah Dubois’ beloved bar bites to complement the cocktails.
